I am a lover of lemon flavored deserts. I even make my own.  I have eaten deserts from gourmet bakeries to supermarket bakeries.  This evening I purchased  a box of lemon tarts by Daphne for the very first time.  I had never even heard of tarts by Daphne.  What drew me to purchase the tarts as I passed the frozen foods section at DeCicco’s in Bronxville, NY was simply the color of the box-it was the yellow which, in my mind identified with lemon. I stopped and read the box and was excited because it was lemon.  Enthusiastically, I placed the box in my cart.  Well, when I arrived home and tasted the lemon tarts after dinner, I was very pleased.  That was the best lemon tart I have ever tasted in my entire life! I immediately ate the other tart and grabbed the box and starting reading every word on the box. I saw your web site and just had to comment on such a great product.

 Hi Bo!

 I just wanted you to know that I tested the tart shell with my Pecan Pie filling and have to tell you I was a bit skeptical. Usually, tarts aren't used for Pecan Pies,  a savory crust is more traditional. However, I am over the moon with how well they turned out. I gave samples to friends...unanimously it was the tart that everyone chose. I am ready for pie making today and with joy!! I know they will be a hit at my catering tomorrow!!
